The RAWK Foundation was formed on the 19th of January 2007. It consists of Diploma in Communication students, majoring in Advertising, Journalism and Public Relations at Taylor’s College Petaling Jaya. The initials ‘RAWK’ stand for “Reach Autism With Kindness”. We are organising a project to help raise funds for the National Autism Society of Malaysia. Our tagline – “Together We RAWK!” – urges us all to play a part in promoting awareness on autism and to help wherever and however we can. We strongly believe that the more we know about autism, the better we can empathise and understand their predicament. With understanding comes acceptance, and this is essential in helping realise the needs of autistic people. We aim to: “Provide help, love and care to autistic children; to heighten awareness of autism as well as to encourage a positive public view towards autism.” Together we RAWK !!
